Max/MSP patches 

These are the patches I used to tweak or connect external gear. They do mostly MIDI manipulation and routing.

I compiled them as apps as well so you should be able to use them without having max/MSP.

MD to Drum Pad

This patch scales CC massages/ volume information from MIDI drum pads or keyboards to Elektron Machinedrum or any other synth. I used Machinedrum CC table to map it. You will need to change CC numbers according to your/your synth needs.

Once you hit the key or the drum pad, patch gets the volume info and changes few parameters on the synth.

Each parameter is scaled differently. Once you have max you can change the scale or amount of parameters as you wish. I use up to six parameters since more seem confusing.

It is great fun for drummers to play. You can also get unexpected results from your synth or drum machine.

The routing goes:  DRUM pad MIDI OUT -> MIDI IN interface(computer) MIDI OUT

 -> Machinedrum/Synth MIDI IN

Gamepad/Mouse Hack

Gamepad_Mouse_Hack is max/MSP patch that I made in order to use Logitech Rumblepad as MIDI controller. This little app let you choose CC massages and MIDI channels for each button and joystick

I use hi object to get the data of the pad.

You need to have Logitech Ramblepad 2 in order to use it. I haven't tested it with other

usb devices. It probably wont work since you will get different controller massages.

.aka mouse object is used to hack the mouse(perform the click), so one can use the pad without the mouse - very useful for switching tracks in ableton live without touching laptop and still seeing what you tweak. You need max/msp to change the desired mouse settings/pixel position to map.

"no_mouse" is the app that you run without having max/msp and as the name suggest no mouse hacking.

I used this patch in KP1 project, Greentooth installation as well whenever I don't have place in a backpack and need to play live :)

Virus Tweaker

Enables the connection between individual parts of Virus TI. You can connect up to 4 parameters and parts. If you need more then that just copy and paste patchers.

It might be useful with other synthesizers as well.

Used for Virus sound design. I don't have Virus anymore might upgrade the patch for Monomachine in the future.
